How the Joshua Cold Sore Solution was discovered!

While working many years ago in the burn unit of an Arizona hospital, Dr. Chernov noticed patients experienced much pain when their wounds were covered with the various antiseptic ointments used to ward off life-threatening infections. Dr. Chernov began to formulate different solutions hoping to develop a non-stinging, pain-free solution that would still be highly effective in preventing serious infections. Upon completing his hospital training, Dr. Chernov entered private practice and suspended work on his antiseptic solution.

Soon after, Dr. Chernov operated on a young woman who worked as a professional model for magazines. When she returned later to have her stitches removed, she told Dr. Chernov she was very upset because her face was breaking out. She had gone to several dermatologists, but nothing was helping. Dr. Chernov learned that models often spend long hours under hot lights posing for photographs without washing off their makeup. He suggested that adding the special solution he had been working on earlier to her liquid makeup might help her. Several weeks later Dr. Chernov received a letter from this model telling him his solution had done the trick. Her face had cleared up rapidly.

One day at the hospital, Dr. Chernov received a call from another model who had used this patient's makeup -- not for her complexion but to cover the redness of a developing cold sore on her lips. She told Dr. Chernov his special makeup product had stopped the cold sore dead in its tracks and she was able to continue shooting her commercial layout for a magazine. After sending him the sample, Dr. Chernov received a letter from Dr. Hoffman telling him his solution was without equal. It was truly great since it provided relief almost immediately. He told Dr. Chernov he had shared some of his sample with another neurosurgeon who practiced in New Mexico and also suffered from cold sores. Again Dr. Chernov received a letter in the mail from this neurosurgeon thanking him for developing such a wonderful and effective product. Dr. Chernov called a friend who manufactured facial products, and he also asked for samples to send to friends when he heard what the product could do. Soon Dr. Chernov received a letter from the CEO of Neiman Marcus in Texas telling him the solution was wonderful and he was willing to sell it in his stores provided it could be packaged as a cosmetic. Special packaging was developed and the product was sold in department stores initially; however, it became clear that most people do not go to department store cosmetic counters to find cold sore remedies.

Most people know when they are going to develop a cold sore blister or a canker sore. It usually begins with itching or burning around the lips or in the mouth.
